Sertaconazole Nitrate Cream is used to treat skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It is safe to use on the skin, but avoid any contact with the eyes, mouth, or nose.  After every use, wash your hands with hand wash or soap. Sertaconazole Nitrate Cream is sold under the brand name Sertacare. If you use any other creams then tell your specialist about this otherwise your skin may be infected. Before applying the cream make sure that your skin is dry.

If you are using Sertaconazole Nitrate Cream to treat athlete’s foot. Please dry the feet, using a cotton cloth. Avoid socks that are made from wool or synthetic fabric. Wear cotton socks and change them daily or more if your feet sweat a lot. Try to wear sandals or shoes if you face the problem of sweating.

If you are using Sertaconazole Nitrate Cream for jock itch, try to avoid tight-fitting underwear that is made from synthetic fibers such as rayon or nylon. Instead, wear loose-fitting, cotton underwear. Dry the area completely after bathing.
